Hawaii State Champ 2018

My second Hawaii State Title, this time in the Boys 14 – 15 Division, super stoked to say the least. Always really tough competition with many National Champs involved in the mix. Nationals is next.

Stoked to take my first win of 2016 at Honolua. Had a great final, scored some set waves, and earned a couple 9’s.

Crazy day at Ho’okipa! Total Mayhem. So fun! Thanks for letting the alternates surf. Made my first 2 heats on the road to the finals among Maui’s finest 12 -14 boys. Finished 3rd. Mahalo Ian Walsh, event volunteers and judges for an awesome day.

 

2015 NSSA Hawaii Regional Championships

What a week! Everyone was on fire. Glad to make it to finals in Open Boys. At the end, stoked to be 3rd among my friends. I think the highlight of my week was a 9.5 wave (10 from one judge) in round 2, which sent me to straight to finals.

Makaha Fun – Volcom’s last stop before Nationals

“Happy to make finals at Volcom Makaha. Ended up in 4th place. Big Mahalo to Volcom’s crew for providing us with a great fun day at Makaha. Surfing and hanging out the west side all day is harsh because of the glare. Stoked to have my Maui Jim’s polarized ‘Switchback’. Mahalo Maui Jim, stoked to be part of the Maui Jim Ohana” – Ocean.
